The Sage Group’s Tom Miller featured at ID World 2011 in Milan, Italy

For the sixth year in a row, Tom Miller of The Sage Group was a featured presenter and moderator for ID World 2011 in Milan, Italy November 2nd through November 4th. ID World attracts a global participation of CEOs and senior executives from industries that are developing and implementing data capture, mobile computing, wireless, identification, and RFID and security technologies. Also participating are senior government representatives from all continents.
Tom moderated the panel discussion for the CEO & Investor Forum on Emerging Markets and Emerging Technologies and opened the sessions with a discussion about the pitfalls to technology and market adoption and how companies can develop a robust business model to overcome the obstacles to success that are inevitably encountered.
In the Healthtech Innovation conference Tom spoke at the Transforming the Medical ID Landscape session on “Auto ID and Wireless Technology Trends and Solutions – Medical Industry”. In his talk he highlighted several case studies on the application of technologies for patient identification, mobile asset tracking, workflow management and electronic medication. During the conference Tom also led a panel on ID in Cloud Computing and Tracking in Healthcare.
